In this post we’ll be revealing the 10 best Easter egg hunts in Norfolk for 2018. The hunts on our list range from the three large Cadbury Easter Egg hunts, to the smaller local events raising money for charity and other good causes.

10. Highway Garden and Leisure Centre – Egg Hunt on the Meadow

Norfolk Easter Egg Hunts - the Highway Garden and Leisure CentreThe Highway Garden and Leisure Centre are holding their inaugural Easter Egg hunt on Easter Saturday. Children will search for hidden eggs on the meadow near the centre. Every child receives a reward for taking part, and the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance.

9. Dereham Windmill Easter Egg Hunt

Norfolk Easter Egg Hunts - Dereham WindmillDereham Windmill, a listed building built in 1835, are having two Easter egg hunts this year – one at 1.30pm and another at 3.00pm. You search for coloured eggs and are awarded points for those you find. Prizes are given for the highest scorers in each hunt, but you receive an Easter egg and free drink for taking part. The hunts are divided into age groups of 5 years old and under, and 6 years old and over.

8. Easter Egg Hunt at Caister Lifeboat Station

Norfolk Easter Egg Hunts - Caister Lifeboat StationSuccessfully follow the trail around the exhibits, and onboard a vintage lifeboat, to claim a chocolate reward at the Caister Lifeboat Station this Easter.

7. Hoveton Hall – Easter Treasure Hunt and Trail

Norfolk Easter Egg Hunts - Hoveton HallSuccessfully follow the clues through the hall’s grounds and you’ll receive a special Easter prize for your efforts. There’s also an Easter Egg Hunt in the walled gardens where little ones can search for eggs with the Easter Bunny.

Cost
Entry to the gardens is £7.50 for adults, £6.50 for senior citizens, £4 for children aged 4 -16, and free for under 4’s. The Easter Treasure Hunt is free once you’ve paid for admission.

6. Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt – Oxburgh Hall

Norfolk Easter Egg Hunts - Oxburgh HallOxburgh Hall, a beautiful moated country manor house, hosts one of three Cadbury Easter egg hunts in Norfolk this year. Follow the clues around the grounds and discover where the bunny has hidden his chocolates. You’ll get a tasty chocolate treat if you can complete the trail.

Saturday 31st March – Monday 2nd April, 10.30am – 4.30pm.

Cost
The cost of the Easter egg hunt is £2.50 per person. You will have to pay the normal cost of admission to the property as well however. For non-members National Trust members this is £6.10 for adults, £3.05 for children five years and older, or £15.25 for a Family ticket. Parking is free at the property.

5. Easter Egg Hunt for Play Park Equipment – North Walsham Memorial Park

Norfolk Easter Egg Hunts - Memorial ParkAll proceeds from this Easter egg hunt, organised by North Walsham Play, will go towards building a new play park for children in North Walsham and the surrounding area. All children taking part will leave with a goodie bag.

4. Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt – Felbrigg Hall

Norfolk Easter Egg Hunts - Felbrigg HallFelbrigg Hall, located in 520 acres of beautiful woodland, is the second Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt on our list. There are two trails, one for older children and one for younger children, following clues around the west garden to claim a special chocolate treat.

The Easter egg hunts costs £2.50 per person. The hunt is outside the pay barrier so, unless you also want access to the property, there are no additional entry fees. Parking is £3.
